Day 01 : Arrival in Chennai
Welcome to Chennai, the Capital City of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. A representative from South India Tour Package will receive you with warm welcome from Chennai Airport and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. Later proceed for city tour of historic Chennai – one of the four metropolitan cities of India. Major attractions to see in this city include Fort St George, St Mary's Church, Kapaleswarar Temple, Cathedral Basilica, Theosophical Society, Kalakshetra, Museum, Marina Beach, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram – Trichy
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram to see magnificent temples and other historical attractions. Kanchipuram is worldwide famous for architecturally beautiful temples. Kamakshi Temple, Kailasanatha Temple, Ekambaresh vara Temple, Vaikuntha Perumal Temple, Varadaraja Temple, etc are attractions to see at Kanchipuram – the City of Temples. Shore Temple, Rock Cut Temples, Beach, etc are attractions at Mahabalipuram. Later you will be transferred to Railway Station to board overnight train to Trichy. Dinner will be served on board the train.

Day 03 : Arrival in Trichy
Arrive this morning at Trichy. Upon arrival in Trichy, a representative of South India Tour Package will receive you and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later enjoy sightseeing tour of Trichy. Major attractions to see at Trichy include: Sri Rangnathaswamy Temple, Rock Fort, etc. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 04 : Trichy – Tanjore – Madurai
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Madurai visiting Tanjore en route. At Tanjore, visit Sri Brihadeswara Temple – It was constructed by the great Chola King in 10th century AD. It is brilliant example of Chola architecture. The Palace – It is a huge building of stonework built partly by the Nayaks around 1550 AD and later completed by the Marathas. Art Gallery – It is positioned in the Thanjavur Palace only. It has some of the most magnificent and precious Granite and Bronze statues of Chola period. Day 05 : Madurai
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing tour of Madurai visiting the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati (Meenakshi). The temple is famous for its magnificent towering gopurams. In the evening witness the prayer ceremony at the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Day 06 : Madurai – Periyar

Day 07 : Periyar – Cochin
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Kochi formerly known as Cochin which is an ancient Port City and called the Economical Capital of Kerala. Day 08 : Cochin
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. After hearty breakfast at the hotel proceed for sightseeing tour. Day 09 : Cochin – Bangalore (By Flight)
In the morning you will be transferred to Cochin Airport to board flight for Bangalore which is the capital city of southern Indian state of Karnataka. Upon arrival at Bangalore Airport, South India Tour Package representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Bangalore visiting prominent attractions like Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, Cubbon Park, Vidhan Soudha, Tipu’s Sultan Summer Palace, MG Road, etc. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Day 10: Bangalore – Mysore
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Mysore – the City of Palaces in Karnataka. Day 11 : Mysore – Belur – Halebid – Hassan
Take your breakfast at the hotel and then drive towards Hassan visiting en route historical sites of Belur and Halebid. You will see architecturally beautiful temples at Belur and Halebid. You will see eye-catching finely chiseled sculptures and beautiful frescos. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel at Hassan.

Day 12: Hassan – Hampi – Hospet
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. Drive Hospet. On arrival, you will be transferred by representative of South India Tour Package to the pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. The main substance of Hospet lies in its proximity to Hampi, a world Heritage site. Visit the King's Balance where the weight of the king was weighed against grain, gold or money that was then distributed among the poor. Also visit the Queen's Bath which has fountains in the shape of the lotus flower that sprinkled perfumed water. The Lotus Mahal is another must visit at Hampi owing to its architectural excellence. Also visit the Chitradurga which is considered as the Kallina Kote that means the Place of Stones. Visit the famous Chitradurga Fort which was constructed by Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. Day 13 : Hospet – Badami
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Badami. On arrival, you will be transferred by representative of South India Tour Package to the pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. Later proceed for sightseeing tour. Badami is well-known for its rock-cut cave temples. These temples have been engraved out on the red sandstone hills that encircle the town. There are four cave temples at Badami. These temples were constructed in 6th century and lavishly carved with figures of Hindu deities. Three temples are dedicated to Hindu gods. The fourth one is a Jain temple. Also visit the archeological museum which displays a wonderful triangular panel depicting Brahma surrounded by intricate foliage. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Day 14 : Badami – Goa
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Goa. On arrival, you will be transferred by representative of South India Tour Package to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy fun activities at one of beaches of Goa. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 15 : Goa
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Goa. Explore Old Goa churches and some of popular beaches. Enjoy water sports and fun activities at beaches. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 16 : Goa – Departure
On time a representative from South India Tour Package will transfer you to Goa Airport. Take flight back to your home/onward destination with sweet memories of Classic South India Tour.
